BRIGHT COUNTRY GOLF CLUB
Our local course has a picturesque 18 hole course with some of the best views in the country. Clubs and buggies can be hired at the club rooms. Regular tournaments are held throughout the year and competition golf is played most days of the week. The course is located on the Back Porepunkah Road between Bright and Porepunkah. BRIGHT TENNIS CLUB
The tennis club has four modgrass courts in Coronation Ave and these are available for hire. Court hire and racquet hire is arranged through the Alpine Visitor Information Centre in Bright. Social tennis at various times is open to visitors. Ph: 03 5755 2011
BRIGHT CROQUET CLUB
The croquet club is located very near the town centre off Burke St and visitors are most welcome. Mondays Association croquet is played, Wednesdays Aussie Croquet, and Thursdays Golf Croquet. All start at 9.30am. Phone 03 5756 2357 or 03 5750 1812
BRIGHT BOWLS CLUB
You will find the bowls club in Churchill Ave. It has a great club rooms and visitors are most welcome. An end of year annual tournament in late December is open to visitors as well as other days throughout the year. Social Mixed bowls is played each Tuesday and Sunday. Your name needs to be in by 12.30 on the day. Ph: 03 5755 1236
SQUASH COURTS AND GYMNASIUM
Squash courts and a gymnasium are located with the indoor swimming pool at the Bright Sports Centre in Gavan St (Gt Alpine Rd)
