BANKS and ATMs
Bright has four banks, the Commonwealth, ANZ , NAB and Bendigo Bank. There are ATMs at all banks.
BUSINESS SERVICES
Bright has the service facilities you need to do business, buy real estate, manage property, fix up your holiday house, buy land or build a house, including solicitors, accountants, real state agents, insurance agents, internet cafes and computer consultants, sign writers, and many and varied trades persons.
CAR FACILITIES
Bright has several service stations and mechanics and also a RACV depot. Car Chains for winter can be hired from ski hire shops and service stations

DISABLED FACILITIES
Parking for the disabled is situated outside the pharmacy, outside the Uniting Church, near the rear access to the Post Office, Bourke St near public toilets and Bright Library car park for library users
Public Toilets for the disabled can be found Burke St, Alpine Visitor Information Centre in Bright, Howitt Park and in Harrietville at Pioneer Park on the Great Alpine Road
Tracks suitable for the disabled include a BBQ park bench with access track in Howitt Park, the track along the Ovens River from Centenary Park to Canyon Lane and the Murray to Mountain Rail Trail from Bright to Porepunkah.
MEDICAL FACILITIES
Bright has a hospital and medical centre which cater for the community and tourists in the area.

ORGANISATIONS
Bright has the following groups that meet regularly and welcome visitors. Alpine Probus Club, Lions, Lodge of Unity, Probus Club of Bright, Rotary Club of Bright and RSL. For details see the community directory on the Alpine Shire website www.alpineshire.vic.gov.au
TELEVISION
Five standard channels are available in most of the local area ABC, Prime – Regional Ch 7, Ten Southern Cross, WIN – Regional Ch 9 and SBS. Digital reception is also available giving several extra channels.
WEDDINGS and SPECIAL OCCASIONS
If you would like to organise a special occasion or wedding in Bright the area boasts many ideal venues. There are a wealth of accommodation options plus restaurants, catering services, hairdressers, photographers and flower specialists skilled in these areas.
