Ski Hire

All ski clothing and footwear can be purchased or hired from numerous outlets in the valley towns, also toboggans, skis and boards to suit the amateur through to the serious pro.  Ski racks can also be hired or bought and fitted to your vehicle.  Lift tickets, bus tickets, ski lessons and combination packages are available.

If you are attempting this sport for the first time, it is wise to get professional lessons from one of the fully qualified ski instructors available on all mountains as a starting base.  Lift and lesson packages for beginners are really great value

Alpine Animal Hospital

Alpine Animal Doctors is located at 7047 Great Alpine Road, Porepunkah, Victoria, Australia. We are on the front road between Porepunkah and Bright, just after the roundabout and next door to old Gator Magoons.

Alpine Animal Doctors has grown enormously, quickly becoming the ‘first choice’ for veterinary services of pet owners and farmers throughout the region. Our practice now draws its clients from Beechworth and Yackandandah through Myrtleford and down to Mount Beauty, with some clients coming from much further afield.

We are a fully accredited Animal Hospital, providing what we believe to be the most extensive and technologically advanced equipment and facilities of any veterinary facility outside of Melbourne.

Emergency Services

CALL 5756 2444

Open all hours - Well, not really, we like our weekends and our beds as much as the next person! But we do have extensive opening hours to suit your busy schedules and a veterinarian is always on-call for emergencies. If you call the normal hospital number (5756 2444) after hours and listen to the full message, you’ll be directed to our emergency numbers.

In any after-hours emergency, please, always telephone first! That gives us some critical extra time to make any necessary preparations to ensure prompt and effective treatment.
